No Training Wheels - Take 1

Riley got a "big girl bike" for Christmas...sadly, Santa didn't know some bikes don't work with training wheels...so Riley decided she wants to learn to ride on her small bike and THEN she can ride her big bike even though right now it's a little too big. So here's her first lessons. I will post video when we are a bit more successful:)

TGIF - The Rock

Out at my grandparent's place that they sold several years back, there is a rock that we had pictures taken on many times over the years. The new owners were supposed to be having a sale out there so we thought we might get a few pics with OUR kids on "Our Rock"...I made my mom take the kids because I just can't bring myself to go back there. Thank you Mom!!

I am so thankful for the memories I have of "Snake Acres" and my childhood spent at this lake with my cousins and my grandparents. I still have a hard time saying good-bye to the place of so many happy times. Someday...

The first pic was taken the year Grandma and Grandpa sold the lake place. Long before our kids and I think before Meg and Chris were even married...and I know my cousins significant others were not even "dates" yet...except maybe Sharis?!?! It was a while back. I don't have copies of the pics when we were "kids" but this rock goes WAY back!

Dr. Jess Makes House Calls

We are very lucky to have a Vet in the family. Auntie Jess doubles as Lily's vet and better yet, she makes house calls. Riley and Rowan were having their first lesson on how to run a heartworm test. Very interesting...and neither Josh, nor myself passed out:)

So happy to be there!!!

Ok, Riley has always loved Cuddy (Michael Cuddyer)...since she could say his name...so we had the opportunity to see Cuddy play for the Colorado Rockies in spring training "Cactus League" action. What an amazing day. Riley had a ball thrown to her and got 6 autographs...sadly, not Cuddy...but we saw him play 4 innings and sat 6 rows up practically on the field with the players. It was AMAZING!
