This weekend we celebrated the almost arrival of our first niece...or nephew...with a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Jessie! Their Aunt Pammy and I had fun planning and putting on the shower for her family and 4-H friends! (Sorry, I downloaded those backwards, I mean for the pics of Jessie to be on top of the page???)

Riley's Glam!

For Riley's birthday last week, I took her to my hair salon to get hair tinsel put in. She is all sparkly and she felt so fancy getting her hair done at Mommy's salon:) She even wore a fancy dress for the occasion. It was fun! I forgot my camera so these are a bit blurry, because I was using Gretchen's work iPad to take pictures and I have never taken pics with an iPad before!

Finally Falling!

Our tree in front is almost always the LAST tree in the neighborhood to lose it's leaves. As usual, this year is no different. I just hope it loses all the leaves before the snow flies or it's a mucky mess in the Spring. This year the first time we got to rake and jump in the leaves was a Birthday treat for Miss Riley. My kids LOVE this fall chore! I won't lie, I kinda like it too! (Reminds me of when I was a kid out at the lake!)
