So far we have had an amazing weekend. Decided to skip Homecoming last night for the maybe the second time in 15 years since graduating and invited the neighbors over for a bonfire. Got the kids bedrooms all switched so now we have Riley in the basement and Rowan in Riley's old room and OUR ROOM IS JUST OURS AGAIN! Riley slept great after Emily read her a few bedtime stories, Rowan was up a few times but we could let him cry it out a little easier, which was great.
Today we went to visit Twig the Fairy and her friend Zinnia at Ren Fest. We invited Emme and Izze and the kids LOVED it! Riley did a jumping Trampoline that goes WAY HIGH in the sky and E and I rode a Llama and Riley and Izze even performed in a play about the Pied Piper!
A whole lotta kiddos and a bunch of Green, some AHS stuff and random junk in between.

Good-Bye Nettletons!
What? We're moving?
We will miss you!!!
Our friends are moving to Boise because of a job transfer. We had a little get-together to say good bye last night. This is always part of the job, as Chris works in broadcast, so he goes where the job is and where the market is better. He had been in Duluth, but had been living down here for the past few months and it was great having them "home". But a job in Boise was too good to pass up, so his wife, Meg, got a job transfer and they are off to the mountains. We will miss them and their little boy Quinlan, who is Rowan's age, a bunch! We loved babysitting for Q! Drive safe and good luck you guys!!!!

Last Warm Weather?
You never know in Minnesota when the forecast calls for cooling temps, if it might be the last time it is warm until Spring. We took the kids to the park early this week because the weather is supposed to get cold by the end of the week. Here's hoping this is not the last of the nice weather this year!

Last Day of Fall T-Ball!
Riley's last day of T-ball this year was yesterday. She loved it and we were so proud of her! One of the dads of an older boy said what a great arm she had, and I said it was probably cuz she was one of the older kids...to which he said..my kid is 6 and he can't throw like that. Awww, maybe she's just good:) That was cool! Also, there was a little girl who was kinda shy and didn't want to play. I asked Riley if she could try to be friends with the little girl and by last night her mom told me that all she talked about on T-ball days was Riley and she didn't hate coming anymore. Proud mama!
More from the Wedding

First Day of 4/5 Pre-K
I feel like the last person in the world posting First Day of School pics, but Riley's preschool didn't start until today. She was happy to find out that one of her teachers is the same as last year and one of her best friends from last year is in her class again! There are at least 4 or 5 kids from her class last year in her class again so she is pretty excited about that! Daddy took the day off to escort her to the Meet the Class day...she starts officially on Wednesday.
