Everything's a Blur!

Sorry, I promised pics of my nephew when he arrived and it is now several days alter and those pics are still not up...Here's the thing...on the same day that Grady Cory Hafemann arrived...two days early...My cousin and his wife also welcomed their new baby girl, Delaney Elizabeth...2 weeks early...They both came on Tuesday and Josh took the day off work to go visit on Wednesday, but of course the night before this Riley came down with a fever...so we didn't want any germs near the baby and we had to find a babysitter before we could go visit.

Once we got that figured out it was down to New Prague to visit Grady. We have still not gotten to welcome Delaney except in quick passing this weekend because my baby cousin Bear got married! Timmer, Colleen and Delaney made a brief appearance to fulfill Bridesmaid and Groomsman duties and celebrate with Kerry and Eric, but understandable they had to get some sleep after that! I hope to visit them when they are settled in soon!

And then today was a baby shower for the wife of one of me "little brothers" from my old neighborhood who is due at the end of the month. So you see, While I did get pics on Facebook right away, the blog has had to wait a bit...without further ado!

He's Here, He's Here!!!

Welcome to the world Grady Cory Hafemann! He arrived 2 days early and we are so excited!! Riley is running a temp off and on so we couldn't go down right away to meet the little guy, but Cory's sister posted this on FB so I hope it loads ok. Congrats Mama Jess and Daddy Cory!!!

Dang it...photo won't load...He's a peanut (6lbs. 13 oz.)! I will get pics ASAP!

No baby news yet, but I should have Thanksgiving stuff to post as soon as Josh stops messing with our computer and I can figure out where iPhoto went?!?!

Choo Choo!

Sorry, I know I am behind again in posting (I know this because Meg informed me it has been 10 days since I posted and she's bored again). Here are some pictures from our adventure on the "train" last weekend with Josh's parents and the kids. We got on a train in Downtown Minneapolis and rode it to the MOA. The kids loved it! (I think Grandma and Grandpa had fun too!) Riley was excited because she has never seen the rides at MOA all lit up and since it gets dark early these days she was a happy camper!

P.S. My Sister-in-law is due ANY DAY!!! So then there will be LOTS of baby posts coming soon!

Riley's Mary Poppins Party!

Well, since last weekend Rowan got sick just long enough to cancel the party, this weekend was Mary Poppins Party Take 2. Auntie Katie made it the perfect Mary Poppins Party arriving AS Mary Poppins! We fed the birds and had spoon full of sugar races too!

This year, Riley finally gets to celebrate holidays at school. Her Pre-school was no fun in that respect. So I volunteered to help out and stayed for lunch with her. It was a fun morning! Thanks Auntie Katie for watching the rugrat!
