How do these things work?
Ready for my close-up!
Feather from more than 20 feet away, good zoom!? Still have camera envy when I'm here though!
To get a good idea of how many are left...as of Thursday, but now, who knows?
A whole lotta kiddos and a bunch of Green, some AHS stuff and random junk in between.

Swan Park - Take 2
Brought a different group of friends to Swan Park on Thursday this week and they have certainly started flying off to the nest. Last time there were a couple hundred, this time, maybe 20-30 left! But we did see a cool Hooded Merganser this time too!
The guy who feeds the Swans says the rest of them should be gone in a few days...just the young ones who are pairing up for mating season left...essentially a pick-up bar for Swans :)

Swan City!
Ok, or Swan Park...it's in Monticello, and it's a Bird Nerd Paradise :) Not only are there literally thousands of Trumpeter Swans, but a few geese, ducks and 4 bald eagles hanging around too! Took a few fellow bird nerds to see this place today!
