Schuster's will be at their place in Arizona in February so we celebrated Rowan's 2nd birthday a little early...or I should say they did...I was home still recovering from the flu. Here are a few of the highlights.

Dad's Bionic Parts - Take 1

Ok, so my dad has had bad knees for as far back as I can remember. Last week while we were all out of commission with the flu, Dad had his right knee replaced. I was well enough to visit on Wed. night and discharged Thursday afternoon. I was hoping to help Mom the rest of the week when he was sent home, but I was sick again by late Thursday night. But at least we had a little time to make Papa a welcome home sign before everything went downhill!

And now Riley is in bed before 7 p.m. and complaining of a headache. Ugh. This bug will not leave us alone! I hope she wakes up feeling better tomorrow!

Totally Slacking!

Eek, Blog world, don't hate me...we've been pretty sick in this house for the past few weeks. Have not left for play dates or had anything fun to share. My poor camera is going to forget how to work! I promise we are all on the mend and should be back in action this week!

Nap Time Meets Time to Pick Up Big Sister!

Most days when we drop Riley off for Preschool, I come home and put Rowan down for a nap. This is how I found him on Wednesday when I went to wake him to go get Riley.

Baby Fix

So this week I have gotten to see two of the babies who were born in the past few weeks...My friend Emily's little girl, Betsy was born about 6 weeks ago and they joined us for a play date...the kids were excited for the BABY, Rowan especially... and I stopped in to visit Tom and Kelli's little guy, Levi... the first New Years baby in the Twin Cities! I've never actually known the New Year's baby before!
