I won tickets to the Twins Game on Friday night and so we thought it would be a great way to get the kids there this year...cheaper:) It was Rowan's first time at Target Field...and his first pro sporting event. Good thing we didn't pay for the tickets because we only made it to the second inning, and not because of Rowan.
There were several things working against us, starting with Riley, who had a headache before we left and we almost didn't even go. Then we got there and the tickets were in what I like to call the "Panic Attack" section. I knew that going into it, but I was going to try again...FAIL. I just cannot do the upper level there. I was shaking so bad Josh had to hold the food so I didn't dump it. We ate our cheese curds and headed down to the concourse level. On our way down the elevator girl told me to check with Guest Services and they might be able to find us better seats (good to know!) Guest Services told us they would look for seats not being used and to check back after the second inning...We stood in Standing Room Only spaces behind home plate, which would have been fine with me (and I think Rowan liked it too...go TC Bear viewing). But since Riley wasn't feeling good, I think it was just too much for her. So we left before we even went back to GS to get seats reassigned.
Overall though, it was fun to take the kids to see Target Field and we got LOTS of pictures in the hour we were there:)
