Back from our annual Nisswa trip with the family...here comes a million photos...ok I will try to post less than the 519 that made the cut :) Here's some fish...more fish to come...

GRAND OPENING!

It's finally here! Our grand opening is just an hour and a half away (4 p.m. if you still wanna come!) and I am soooooooo excited! Photos will be posted later tonight! Bars are made and cut, lemonade is all ready to go...books are out and we are ready for the ribbon cutting...or crepe paper cutting I guess! Thank you EVERYONE who made this possible, but especially Josh for giving me this awesome gift for Mother's Day (ironically, this is our 19th anniversary of when we started dating...perfect day for it!) and for all my friends and family who donated buttons, glue, construction, books and support in so many ways! Stay tuned for photos!

Little Free Library Adventures!

Since we have gotten so excited about the Little Free Library in our house, we have decided to start documenting the LFLs we find around town. So far by my count we are up to 8 that we (or I on one case) have visited. Here are some of the most recent visits.

 In Brooklyn Park near my old neighborhood...The Steward of this LFL is coming to our Grand Opening :)

 South Minneapolis has a TON of LFLs...The photo above and the three below were all in about a mile radius from my friends' Mandy and Tom's place. Unfortunately, not real kid-stocked on this day...but Rowan found one book and I swapped one out just to switch books out...

 This LFL is in Richfield at Malt-Tees/Veterans Park. Sadly, this LFL was totally empty! I left the books that I had in the car so there are now 3 books in it...if you live in the area and need to get rid of some books, they would love some help! I talked to someone about it there...Also, YES I keep books in my car now...just in ace we find an LFL when we stop at Garage Sales looking for books for ours :) We have found 2 this way already!
