Swan Lake?

 If you look closely, you can see a cloud that looks like a swan...according to Riley!

 Bald Eagle was there checking things out...

 At the peak of winter feeding, there are 2500 Swans here...this day there were closer to 300 young ones who haven't left for their nesting grounds yet...

Ok, so it's actually one the River and it's called Swan Park, but this is a Bird Nerd paradise!

Swimming Lessons - Take 1

The pool was cold, but so far, I think it was ok...Riley is almost to Level 3 and Rowan...well he wasn't too thrilled about getting dunked under water :)

Top O' The Mornin'!

Yesterday we celebrated a little early so I have actual pics to post today. As most of you well know, we do Irish BIG in our house! Here are just a few of the pics from the party at Katie's...Thanks for hosting KT, it was awesome!

We made green play-dough, the kids hunted for leprechaun gold and did a little Irish Dancing, and had some fabulous Irish Beef Stew and Soda Bread. Ok, and a little Irish beer too...Slainte!

Return to the Birds

Riley was so excited about the bird show that she told all her cousins about it. Adrienne has the same Spring Break as Riley so we headed out to the Zoo again to see the birds with the Tredinnick Girls. This time, Meg got buzzed by the Owl and I got buzzed by a bird in the Tropics that wasn't even part of the bird show.

Rowan's 3-year Old Vitals!

Went to the doctor for Rowan's well-child check up. He is in the 40th percentile for height (37 inches) and 55th for weight (32.2 lbs.)!

Birthdays Dinner!

Saturday we celebrated both my mom and dad's birthdays, we went to their house and made dinner and had a fun day watching slides from the past (and yes, Mom, I mean FUN), and then during dinner the entertainment involved these beautiful critters walking up through the back yard into the front and down the street. Didn't really sit much for dinner, spent a lot of time snapping these...but it was a great night!
