Eeek! Good thing it's almost summer! In fairness to the groomer, whom I really liked, Lily was really matted because when she should have had a groomer appointment about a month ago, she had her surgery to get "fixed" and couldn't get the stitches wet for a while, and then when I called to make an appointment, they were booked two or three weeks out, so she was long overdue. I knew it was going to be a shave job going in...

Happy Birthday Crazy Daddy/Josh!

We wish you a very special birthday, Daddy. Riley says "I love you Daddy!" Rowan says....ggjbjggkfvcflclcclclcvlkc ...I'm sure that is something very nice:) And I say I love you more every day. Happy Birthday Hubby!

Puppy Conference

You can't see it, but there are 3 dogs at this conference in the corner. Ellie May in the back yard, Crosby behind the brown privacy fence and Lily...the only dog missing is the sharpei in the other corner.

Puddle Jumpin'!

It has been showing strong signs of spring around here. Ya-hooo for puddle jumpin! We shall be doing more of this today!

Lily had her first play date this week. In order to "socialize" our puppy, my friend Missy brought Lucy over to play with our pooch. The dogs played great together! And Lucy was kind enough to give Lily her hand-me-down sweater and jacket! Lucy has outgrown them and when she heard Lily wasn't allowed to have such items, per Josh's insistence, she thought she must fix that problem:) Missy also, of course, brought Quinn to play with Rowan! They did a great job sharing the wipes out of the diaper bag.

Did I mention Doodle likes Lily's STUFF more than that dog? And that Lily LOVES to snuggle?

I think this week it goes without saying. I'm thankful we are a happy and complete family, right down to the two kids and a DOG:) Thanks to Josh for my early birthday puppy:)

Doodle's Opinion

Doodle would rather play in the dog dish, or play "open-closed" with the kennel door. He takes no interest in Lily herself.

Riley Loves Lily~

Lily tolerates Riley's "snuggling" very well. Riley even picks her up and carries her around without issue. I think they sat on the chair for more than 20 minutes like this the other night.
