I Mean...Who Doesn't Love This Weather?!?!

Happy Birthday to my Mom! (Day late!)

I thought I had a photo to post with this, but it's not loading...I know I'm a day late, but Mom and I were shopping and having lunch yesterday so I'm a little delayed in posting :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY to  my mom, who made this job look easy and who still does so much for us every day! Love you bunches Mom!

 Celebrated Rowan's 6th birthday with his friends at Eastman Nature Center this weekend. We were planning to go snow shoeing, but there was little snow and lots of ice, so instead we did a treasure hunt. We had to hunt for pieces of the map, and then find the location of the treasure as they put the map together and learned how to read it. Really cool, perfect day to play outside. Then we came in and did cake and ice cream, presents and then they end it bey bringing one of the animals in to show the kids and teach them about the critter...lucky me, Rowan picked the largest snake in the place, a Bullsnake. Yippee! Lucky for me another kid was scared of the snake so I had to protect him ;) I'm fine with snakes, but they don't have to be in my face! Great day to celebrate!

Our Little Man is Getting BIG!

Today our silly, snuggly, sweet boy turns 6 years old...how did that happen so fast? Already, he's turning into a bright, kind, little man and we are so proud of him! Love you and Happy Birthday Monkey!!!

Book Club

I am a very part-time member of a book club that reads books that are going to be or have been made into movies. They also tend to do lots of fun extra stuff, like Book Club Getaway Weekend! This year, I went up for one of the two-night stay at Grandview Lodge Interlachen Townhomes. We played games, colored, watched a few of the movies we were behind on and got very little sleep. On the way up and on the way back, I also got some shopping done in Baxter and Nisswa :)
