More just hanging out on the beach. Mom and Dad having a squirt gun fight with the kids squirt guns..Don't know who won that one, but I know I beat my dad later:)
I'm loosing track of the order of these. I think this is 6-D? Might be 6-C? Anyway we had good weather for a bonfire on Saturday and all the kids took naps so we did s'mores too. My parents even spider proofed the beach for me with blankets:) More on that later.
Random shots of the kids. The top pic is my best shot of all 4 kids yet. The picture below it is "Apple-tizers" We had appetizers before dinner most nights and the kids had dried apples so we called them Appletizers:) The picture of Riley brushing my dad's hair is something we used to do with my grandpa Cooley!
Random shots of bat people. Uncle Chris even made it up for a few hours of fishing before heading back through the rain on his bike. This was the first year he could make it because of his job in road construction. Adee was happy to see Daddy!
Sorry a lot of pictures on Day 6 again. It was a lounging day with nothing planned. I'll start with the fishing pictures. As I mentioned. The fish were not biting as much as usual, but we did have some exceptions. The big one for the weekend was Darin's 23+ inch walleye. and riley caught her first fish this year too! A nice sized sunny! Josh caught a second clam and Adrienne had some snuggle fishing time with Grandma.
This day, the boys went out fishing with a guide in the morning and we went shopping the afternoon. I forgot to mention also on day 4 we shopped Pequot Lakes and Day 5 (the one for today) we shopped Crosslake in the afternoons. Pequot is starting to fall off the shopping map. There are a handful of stores that make it shopable, but not much left from when we started going up there 5 years ago. We had much more success in Cross!!!
Most of these pics are just lounging on the beach. Auntie Meg brought up some cool non-popping bubbles to play with too.
