Riley and the Girls

Last week we went on a play date with Emme and Izze. Shannon, always the awesome Nanny with a plan, had a bubble gum making kit and they also made play-doh! Doodle entertained himself with the Barbie Piano, rockin' out to "I'm a Barbie Girl"...poor boy! I don't know what we will do when Emme and Izze go to school in the fall and won't need a nanny anymore:(

Rowan and Brynn are both sporting vests that Meg and I wore when we were babies for Grandma's birthday party:) We decided Doodle looks a bit like Teddy Ruxpin...or a quarter of a barbershop quartet!

Riley the Fashionista? - TIGF

Riley certainly has her own sense of style. Shall we say it is Punky Brewster-ish? This week she saw an episode of Olivia where she was putting on a runway fashion show. This was Riley's attempt at her own catwalk creations.

Things I am grateful for this week: My kids and their creativity. I love watching them learn and develop personalities!

AHS Update

I was asked recently for an update on our fundraising progress for the AHS walk. To date with online and off-line donations we are at $665 towards our $2000 goal. If you would still like to make a donation we have less than 8 weeks to get there. Click Here to make an online tax deductible contribution. Or send me an e-mail with a pledge for your donation offline. Checks can be made out to Animal Humane Society. I will need all offline donations by April 22nd and online donations by April 26th I think. Pre-registration for the walk is normally the Wed. or Thurs. before the event.

Remember, if you'd like to join us, the Walk is April 30th from 9-2. We LOVE having a crowd with us. Please consider coming out for a day of family fun or just some fun people/animal watching!
