And in Other News...

 Almost....
 Waiting her turn...
 Ready position...
 After the catch...
 Look at that concentration!
And now that life is back to "normal" around here...we started Fall T-Ball last night and Riley is now on the BLUE team. No more orange! YEAH! She doesn't know a single kid playing this time where in the summer there were some pre-school kids she knew, but she still likes it and she caught every ball they threw pop-fly to her last night! Pretty fun to see her progress...

Dragon Flies

Dragon flies of every color visited us all week. The kids loved that...and some of us grown-ups did too:)

Bobber Hunt!

We found that Pequot Lakes, home of "the bobber in the sky" has a Bobber Hunt and Bobber Bowling on Thursdays so we headed there to check it out. The prizes were pretty good if you were there early! Rowan won a new pair of crocs (not real Crocs, but still great!) Riley won a fancy pen that she loves. Zack, Kiley  and Adie all won $5 at the ice cream shop for the hunt. The Bartch crew then headed off for the zoo while the rest of us stayed for Bowling. Adie and Riley "tied" and got an insulated gift lunch-bag full of great stuff. They spilt their winnings, including at stuffed animal, pencil, crayons, mug, beads, can of lemonade, another $5 at the ice cream shop and a DQ coupon, and I got the bag;)

Note: I meant to post this after the Turtle Race post, but I guess you get a preview...Turtle Race post to come later...

Few More Lily Pads... Sorry:)

Lily Pads

Sometimes I pretend to ba pa photographer. Lily pads, for whatever reason, hold my interest...so bare with me!

Wow! That's All I Can Say.

We often see Eagles when we go up north, but this year was nothing short of awesome! I took 27 pictures of this one sitting on the tree right next to the house where we stayed. I just missed the Eagle In Flight shot because I put my camera down to actually look at the bird!!

Here they Are...The pictures I promised!

Our friend Fudge the Butterfly greeted us at the door! (Long story, but basically, Riley brought a caterpillar home from last year's trip and it turned into this kinda butterfly.)
 The baby hang-out.
Papa and the girls...Riley is in the front, but she moved before I could get the picture with all of them in it.
 Josh in his happy place.
Storms in the cities, clear skies in Nisswa. We had GREAT weather until the drive home.

Get Ready, Get Set...Picture time! Just got back from our annual trip to Nisswa with my family. So begins at least two weeks of photos. I feel like I should apologize for the overload. But I get a little crazy!
