Break in the Nisswa Photos
Quick break from the Nisswa pics for more Little Free Library adventures. I took Meg's kids out one day last week and Katie's kids another on a hunt for LFLs in Coon Rapids and Plymouth!
These first two are not from our adventures with the nieces and nephew...these are by my friend Shannon's place in Plymouth and was the basis for the design of ours. Shannon's dad made ours for us, based on seeing this one in their neighborhood...I love mine a LOT more than this one ;)
SUPER cute one in Coon Rapids, ALL kid books and also some games and puzzles for kids too!
This one in CR had a "reading loft" on the top...an entirely separate section for the adult books higher up than the front section which was mostly for kids. This one is double wide.
Above, at CR Middle School - Mostly Teen books; Below, one on Crooked Lake, pretty well stocked.
These are in Plymouth, the one above is all painted in Gnomes and has a beautiful fountain behind it. Some kids books, but not as many as I thought there would be since this one is dedicated to the Steward's grandkids. Still super cute!
The rest of these until the last one were basic design from the LFL web site, well stocked, mostly with adult books, but some kids books in each...
This one is off the road a bit on a bike path, another double wide one with an entire section for kids books and the other section for adult readers. Well stocked!

Little Free Libraries Up North!
Yup, there's even a few LFLs in the Brainerd Lakes Area. I have posted the photo of Zaisers LFL before, but we also found one by the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce (not sure if it's an official one, but close enough!), and one in what is listed as Pequot Lakes on the LFL site, but is actually closer to Ideal Township near Crosslake.
If you're headed north, the two in Nisswa could use more kids books!
