Riley's First Plane Ride

Riley did great on the plane ride down to Phoenix. We had a million things to keep her occupied in case of flight delays or boredom on hte 3-hour flight, but let me tell you, if any of you plan to travel with kids, the portable DVD player was GREAT! We watched Tinkerbell and Cinderella and Robin Hood (not all on one plane ride, but while we were there). I know, I know...you shouldn't put your kids in front of a TV screen blah, blah, blah...but who wants to ride for 3 hours with a screaming kid? Riley wasn't scared and liked looking out the window...she's not like her mommy, that's for sure!

On the way back was a bit more bumpy and she hadn't had a nap so we had a few little fits, but nothing I would deem "terrible toddler to travel with"...overall a good flight both ways.

Did You Miss Us?

We just returned from one week in Arizona! Did you miss us? I love the blog scheduling feature:) Anyway, here's just a taste of what we were enjoying before we came home to this frigid joke. i'll get more and give you a better idea of the trip in the next week or so, but there were over 170 pics to get through so I'm trying to group them...Here's Mesa! (well maybe more like the surrounding area)

Remembering Tori

Today I am thinking of Fred and Will and their families on the anniversary of Tori's Angel Wings. We are also praying hard for their adoption process with baby Kayli to go smoothly from here on out and for them to get the best gift ever, maybe by my birthday?

Dress Up Day

For a two-year-old, Riley has a pretty good attention span. She played dress-up for almost an hour the other day. A lot of the hats came from her Great Aunt Pammy from their trip to Europe. Thanks Pammy!
