Easter #1

We celebrated Easter with the Schusters this weekend because Linda has to work on Easter Sunday. She gets holidays off at work, but they don't consider Easter a holiday??? Crazy! So Riley had an egg hunt and made out like a bandit.

On your mark, get set, GO!

This is the LAST set of the Egg hunt pictures. We did a little candy dash for the kids at the end. Each of them was given a bucket with bubbles a ball and some play doh in it and then we lined them up on the basketball court and threw candy on the ground for a kiddie candy scramble!

These are the rest of the prizes besides the booze table pictured yesterday. There's candy/food, "big" items, and "random crap" like soap, and spray bottles and notebooks, etc. and then there is the prize for the Golden Egg. The Giant Chocolate Easter Bunny! Even with all the booze for prizes, people still hunt for that golden egg...some of the guys were passing up eggs and keeping one spot in their dozen open until the golden egg was found. That is THE prize to get, never mind the bottles of wine on the big table or the variety of beer and mixed drink options!

3rd Annual Adult Edgemont Egg hunt

I will post more pics later this week, but today was the 3rd annual Adult version of our Edgemont Egg Hunt we used to do when we were kids. Some of the old neighbors still live there, so we go back and do the Egg Hunt with more...shall we say Adult appropriate items:) huge thanks to Jeff, Angie and Eric for hosting, to Sure for donating some of the prizes and tables and my mom for donation the "Grand Prize" chocolate rabbit! also, I know some people donated cash and candy at the event too, so thank you! I hope y'all had a good time! Congrats to Katie for the "golden egg" find. Her first time ever winning the chocolate rabbit! (That was the big prize when we were kids and it is still "THE" egg to find:)

The Canterbury Craft Sale is Today! YEAHHHHHH. I'm thankful that Meg is going with me even though she doesn't want to, so I don't have to go alone:)
