TIGF

Back to silly things for which to be thankful. Today I'm thankful my swimsuit still fits (barely) so I can go to the splash park with Riley and our friends Shan and Emme and Izze as it's supposed to top 90 degrees and be super humid today. No maternity swimsuit for me! Whew!

Photos: Emme ran through the overhead fountain like a pro. Riley and Izze were more cautious. I think it's usually the other way around with E and I, but at last for that one...

Riley and Izze on the water slide that looks like a Whale. Spent a lot of time here:) More pics this weekend.

Welcome HOME Cooley Family!

I just want to wish my cousin Dan, Sharis, Ryan and Colvin a very special welcome home on this, their "moving back to Minnesota after a long time living in Chicago day!" I know this is farther from what Sharis knows as home in Ohio, and it will be hard for them to leave Chi-town, but we're happy to have them closer and hopefully we will have lots of play dates with the kids when they get settled! With their two kids, and the two on the way (mine and Meg's), there will be eight kids under the age of 4 at future family functions in town (after February)! Bring it on!!! WELCOME HOME GUYS!

Merry Go Round and Round

Grandma Linda insisted that Riley get a ride on the Merry Go Round and Round as Roo used to call it. So the dads took the kids on just before we left for the day. What a GREAT day at the Zoo. Thanks Jenny and Reid!

Who's the Monkey?

It was supposed to be a hot day at the Zoo so the gorillas were having monkey popsicles of some kind and a lot of the animals had ice in their habitats to keep cool. Here's the irony, Josh is drinking coffee in that picture!

Who's afraid of Butterflies...

Como Zoo has an awesome butterfly exhibit that Riley loves! Josh and I both had butterflies land on us and so did Nolan. Jenny couldn't handle the "swarms" of butterflies around her head so she bailed quickly, but the rest of us enjoyed it a lot:) Sorry, Jen...had to mention it!

A Week Late

Last Sunday we went to celebrate our little friend Ashley's 6th birthday. Yikes! She was 18 months old when we met Ashley and Erica, time flies! We had lot of fun at her Chuck-E-Cheese celebration and Daddy, Jim, was a beautiful princess;)
