Mostly Doodle

Check out that grip? That picture was at Irish Fair and he had such a tight hold on Josh's hair, he made his forehead bleed!

Labor Day Weekend

Over Labor Day weekend we had a few fun days to play. Saturday was my Grandma's birthday and Sunday was Kiley's so we celebrated at Katie's on Sunday. Happy Belated to Grams and Kiley. I didn't get this up, but I'm finally on to the photos on our memory card now!

Sunday we went fishing with our friends, the Rabon's and dodged a few showers to get a picnic in too!

TIGF

That gets us all caught up on photos I think (There are a few scheduled posts still to come). We should stay fairly current with photos now. I'm thankful for our new computer, for sleeping in my own bed, and hot showers, despite missing a lot of things at mom and dad's. I miss the massaging shower head for my back, the good coffee (Josh has started making me coffee in the morning, but it's not quite the same.) I miss having company during the day. I miss not making my bed in the morning and not freaking that there might be a showing. But all those things considered, we came home to the neighborhood to a very warm welcome home. Riley even had a "Welcome Home" sign on the garage from a few of the older girls in the neighborhood. I will miss my neighbors, but man this house is not meant for a family of four with small kids. I do not love having a crib in my bedroom again...Pray for our house to sell before the holidays! In the meantime, I'm thankful for all that I have and the people who make our life great!

So over the summer, Riley has officially been potty trained. We haven't tackled the bedtime routine yet, but for daytime purposes, she does great most of the time. The incentive that finally worked was not the offer of a puppy when she gets potty trained, but a $5 hula hoop I bought at work. It took her 10 minutes to master the thing and now she can even do tricks!

Mom's Fairies

I love my mom's Fairies on the deck. Next weekend we're going to Ren Fest to see our other favorite Fairy, Twig. Can't wait!

DuRoche Visit

This is from when our family friends, the DuRoche's came up a few weeks ago. We had activities for the kids. Riley's new favorite thing to do is Hula Hoop so we bought some for the kids and we did big bubbles, ,clown Bingo and craft crowns which were a huge hit! See my sisters' blogs for more pics.

Riley would like to add her own message here:
