Fairy Friends

This is admittedly, just to keep Meg off my back for not posting anything on the blog. This is my fairy friend in the back yard...I am kinda into fairies. Still think I'm a kid I guess! Or I guess I could claim I do it for Riley;)

There will be more Fairy pictures this summer, I am sure...I have two other friends that hide in my yard...well one in the yard and the other is still in the house, I need to find the right spot for her.
Happy Birthday Mr. Amazing! Amazing Daddy, Amazing Hubby and Amazing Friend for 16 years of my life. Thank you Josh, for loving us and being the Amazing guy that you are. We love you so much!!!

Twins Game

My family got a block of season tickets this year (2 tix divided by all of us across a package of several games). Josh boycotts the field because he thinks it should have a roof, so I go with my friend Shannon. The first game I went to this year Josh had the day off for Riley's field trip at school (I was working at the garage sale) and he dressed the kids all in Twins stuff cuz mommy was going to the game. Thought we would take a family picture since we don't take enough of those!

The Swan and the Goose

We went on a nature walk with the kids yesterday (a little under 3 miles!). On our walk, we normally look for critters and the kids pick every dandilion on the way...We were most of the way through the walk and hadn't really seen anything exciting...until we saw a swan in the small pond near the end of our adventure. The swan was swimming along minding it's own business and then suddenly took off. We thought it was going to fly away, but it never got height...It was headed straight for the reedy area on the far side of the pond ~ and right in the the chest of a goose hiding in the cat-tails. Literally chest bumped him! And then kept his wings spread out and chased the geese right out of their spot. And proceeded back into the water like nothing happened.

Meg says I was being chicken, but I took pictures and then made the kids keep moving so we wouldn't be it's next target!
