I had to!!!

Ok, I decided not to post this on Facebook for all the world to see, but since my friends, there are not many of you who read this blog, I decided I just could NOT keep this photo from being seen by at least a few people. Sorry, Rowan, someday you will hate me for this:)

This is how we found him when we went to bed the other night. He has never tried to dress himself and we are just in the beginning stages of potty training. He has NEVER worn big boy underpants, but apparently his diaper got wet and it bugged him :) When he went to bed he had on fleece footie pajamas and a night time diaper...this is the angle that shows the least amount of embarrassing pc!

Happy Birthday to Us!

Yesterday was my birthday...ok...and Meg's...We had an amazing lunch at Pittsburgh Blue (Thanks Meg!!) HUGE thanks to Mom and Dad for creating our day to celebrate...and to Mom for watching the kids yesterday!!! Today, we are going shopping and then spaghetti dinner at Mom and Dad's!!! Should be a fantastic day!

TRAINS!

Rowan is a big fan of all things moving...planes, trains, cars, trucks, boats...whatever. Last weekend my parents brought us to the Train Museum in St. Paul. Rowan was in Train Heaven!

January Birthdays

In our group of friends, one person from each couple (for the most part) has a January birthday. Benihana offers a $30 birthday coupon so we try to take advantage as a group! This year, we missed Meg and Chris Nettleton who have moved to Idaho, but the rest of the January b-days were in attendance last night!

Big Boy Bed...

For months now we have had Rowan in a big boy bed...it is not going so well...he seems to prefer all areas of the floor! Today we are installing a little rail on his bed...maybe that will help?
