Happy Birthday ZT!

We love you buddy! Hope 8 is GREAT! I love watching Rowan look up to his big buddy. You are the best big boy cousin!

Friday night we went for a Family Bike Ride! Stopped to feed the ducks and turtles and then to the park...This has been a fun weekend!!! Thankful for the good weather so far!

THEY BOTH PASSED!

As of my last post, BOTH kids leveled up in Swimming lessons! Rowan went first, passing level 1 and moving up to 2 and then 5 minutes later, big sis moved up to level 5! WOW proud parents! I was starting to think Rowan was going to go two full sessions in level 1...but he did it!

Swimming Lessons Continues

We are making small progress on Swimming this session. Riley is almost passing level 4 (just needs to hold her breath about 5 more seconds?) and Rowan is allowing the teacher to let her dunk him. Only once or twice though and he needs to do 10 bobs under by himself before he passes level 1...but after last year this is HUGE progress for him. No crying most of the weeks we have been at this so far. The thing that bugs him now is his goggles...notice the strap in photo one vs. photo two.

Nature Walks

Tuesday's are Nature Walk Tuesday's with the kiddos. This was last week's adventure, it was just Brynn and Rowan with me last week. We found the first wildflowers of the spring!

Soggy Night Softball

Games started this week, and in keeping with the rest of the season it was raining...pouring at times...but they play on. If they cancelled for rain, we might never get a season in this year! I think Riley left her batting helmet on most of the game as an "umbrella" of sorts.
