Sneak Peak!

I know Meg is going to be on me for not posting anything in a while...it's been a CRAZY week and it won't settle down until mid-next week, so for now, here's a skeak peak at our family photo shoot with the AMAZING Angie Koos!

Technical Glitch...

Still working out our NEW PHONES so when I figure out how to get the photos I take with the phone to speak nicely to my computer, maybe I can blog with pictures...in the meantime...did I mention NEW PHONES??? Like SMART ones and not dumb ones!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Popp, Come Home!

Our good friend Matt Popp came home for a long weekend so friends and family could meet his wife and daughter and so we could see our long lost friend again :) It was a GREAT time to hang out with our friends and their families!

Ren Fest - 2014

We had such a beautiful weekend that we decided to move up our scheduled Ren Fest trip to take advantage of the perfect weather. And it could not have been a better day! There were not a lot of crowds (probably due to the Vikings season opener!) and no bees, of which we normally see far too many. Lines were reasonable and Twig greeted us as we walked in...and even better, she REMEMBERED the kids from years past. She doesn't speak, but she indicated that they have grown with her hand gestures...and when we bought a calendar, she signed it...and said it has been so good to see us over the years...Riley was in heaven...Then of course we had to see the other mermaids and magical creatures. When we go home the Ice Cream truck stopped by and we had dinner on the deck.

It was an AWESOME day!

Rowan's First Day 4 yr. Pre-K

This little man CAN NOT  Wait to be back in school! He is bored without all the big kids  to play with him and he loves his school and his buddies at school, many of them are the same from last year!

2nd Grade!

We are still a little nervous about school this year, but I know this year will be better. Riley has 2 great teachers this year who are spunky and fun and I think it will make all the difference in adjusting to 2nd grade. Here's hoping for happy smiles when she gets off the bus. This morning was a little teary...
