Fun Bubbles 4-D

Bubbles Day 4-C

Here's the start of bubble night. The boys got to try their hand at it too!

Day 4-B

These are just some family pics from Day 4 that I liked. Katie and her camera...video or digital...are a constant. Meg and Adee "nuggle time" was pretty regular too since Adee didn't sleep too well up there, Katie and Kile on the Beach and Papa on the dock.

Day 4- 4 Part Day

I took a LOT of pictures on Day 4 because we had a lot of beach time. In the morning, the boys went out fishing with Katie and Darin's friend Doug and we had the kids. By afternoon, it was finally warm enough for some swimming time (and by warm enough I mean air temp, not water temp...it was FREEZING!). I love taking pics of the kids swimming. In one of the pics you will notice Adrienne has pine cones in her had...she has a bit of an obsession with them! I'm short Zacky pictures of this part of the day because he ACTUALLY took a nap!

But in the evening it was giant bubble time before bed. Zack was more than ready! Grandma got them each goggles to keep the soap out of their eyes...This is going to take 4 posts because I have 20 "good" pics from Day 4...sorry...

A Day at The Lake- Part 3

We packed a lot into Day 3. We had some beach time in the morning, some fishing and lounging on the dock time, and a treasure hunt on the beach and then the highlight of any Wednesday in Nisswa, the turtle races! Riley and Zack both raced this year (Riley is TECHNICALLY not old enough...they have to be 3 years old to race, but if Zack was going to do it...Riley is close enough!) They LOVED it! Riley's turtle is the one in the head of this pic. Unfortunately that was just one of the sides of the turtle ring and some other turtle crossed the line first...but she didn't care. We had a great time!

We also squeezed in some family boat time. Josh spent a good deal of time fishing from the canoe, but we got him to take us out with Roo with no fishing pole before the next storm hit in the evening.

Lake Hubert - Day 2

Day 2 of our trip meant the girls got to go shopping in Nisswa while the boys had the kids most of the day. Shopping in Nisswa is one of my favorite things to do. I did better in Crosslake this year, but I still helped the local economy where I could:)

A little background about where we stay. There are two camps on the lake: a boys camp and a girls camp. Every day the girls camp has sailing lessons so we get to see the beautiful sail boats at least twice a day. Love it! Also, I caught all of two fish this week...this is the only one who was photo worthy. And Kiley...well she's into EVERYthing now! And she hasa crazy knack for going straight for things she shouldn't...sea shells and rocks in the mouth, toys with small parts, puzzels, etc. She is also crawling like a bandit:)

Day 1 - Lake Hubert

I took 312 pictures in the past week so here goes. I think the most logical way to do this is to try to do a day-by-day best pics snapshot. Here is Day 1 in Nisswa. This kinda sums up the weather we had there and what the fishing was like for the whole trip. Most days we played a little on the beach then it would rain and then sometimes we had a little more time on the beach later. Sometimes the rain was at night so we got more beach time...but overall the weather was decent enough.

As for the fishing...a little slow this year, but the clams were biting;) That's not to say we didn't catch fish and a few big ones...just not like past years!

Ok, Get Ready...

We just got home from Nisswa today and you're in for a LOT of pictures in the next week or two. I took over 300 shots so as soon as they all download and I get them organized, look out! Here they come!

TIGF - Nisswa Style!

We're almost done with our trip by now, we'll be home very soon, but this week I'm thankful for family trips to the lake. I won't know until after you read this how it went with 4 kids under the age of 3 but I know for sure I will have enjoyed myself! Shopping, fishing, turtle races and mini golf are all part of the plan so even if it's chaos it will be great. I'm only sad that this might be our last time at Lake Hubert. We are outgrowing the house and they are kinda phasing out renting the place we normally stay at so hopefully we can find SOME place that will compare! GREAT memories there!!

Trips to the Park

I know I have posted about Josh taking Riley to the park on nights that I work before, but he took some really great shots the last time he took her. This was a park that is a lot farther from our house, but it's kinda his special park to play with her at...he jogs there and she rides in the "buggy" and they play before he jogs back.

(Don't worry, Linda, I'll get these on snapfish as soon as I can.)

More Pics from Mike and Pat's Visit

I think i'm almost all caught up now. These are the tail end of the pictures from when my aunt and uncle were in town. I think they were amazed at how bubbles can make kids SCREAM!!!

Softball Break in the Action

Today is Josh's last game for his Eagan League and Monday is the last of the regular season for Booyah! Team...of course there's still Fall ball and Duck Soup on the horizon, but at least there will be a few nights that w can call our own again. Hopefully the blogging will stay regular from now on! I forgot the camera so no pics of the season finale though...

I do have some pics of our play date with Jess and Noah on Friday though...

A Visit From the South

Again, I'm running about a week behind, so bear with me...Last weekend my aunt and uncle from Arizona headed North to escape the 115+ heat in the desert! Well, actually they had planned to come over the 4th, but that trip had to be rescheduled last-minute. We had the fam over for dinner at my parent's house so they could meet all the kids and we could spend some quality play time on the deck.
