Homecoming Weekend

We had a fun-filled weekend this week. Friday night was TG homecoming. Yes, I am one of those dorks who goes to my high school homecoming game almost every year. I love hanging out on a fall night at the field. Of course it was 80 degrees and no mittens required this year, but it was also more fun because some of our friends were there who don't normally come because our 15-year high school reunion was also this weekend!

Which leads us to Saturday. Riley and Rowan had a rare non-family babysitter, Nolan, a kid from church whom Riley adores. Apparently she talked his ear off all night and was a great helper. She even went to bed without protest...Rowan on the other hand gave poor Nolan a hard time! But after a second bedtime bottle, all was good and we spent an interesting evening with old classmates over NordEast. It was so great to see some of the out-of-towners we don't see very often! Thankfully with Facebook, we keep in touch a little still, but it was good to see people in person!

Then there was today. We had a family photo shoot at Elm Creek. You'll have to wait to see the professional photos, but it was a beautiful day at the park, albeit a bit hot for the Fall wardrobe we were trying to pull off:)
