Today was a play date with a friend from high school, Carissa, and her kids Nick and Mia. It's kinda a weird story...and a tribute to Facebook, really, that we are having play dates with people we didn't even hang out with much in the olds days (kinda Freshman year, but by Sophomore year we did our own things for a while). We got re-connected through Fred's unfortunate circumstances, Carissa had a two premie babies with health issues and could relate better than most of us to what Fred went though! And then we connected a little bit more on FB and I'm so glad we can now have fun together under happier circumstances!
Nick played great with Riley and Adrienne was fascinated by "baby" Mia and it has been a lot of fun to catch up with Carissa and talk about the old days with a new perspective! We had a fun day at the park then lunch at Wendy's (all within walking distance, very convenient for play dates!) We're looking forward to many more play dates with the Wrays!
