There are two things I'm thankful for this week. One is a cute Riley story, one is a sports related item...I know, you're saying, You? A sports related item...no way (read lots of sarcasm here). This is a good week for sports in MN, how can I resist!
First, when we were at the doctors appointment on Thursday there was a girl in the lobby when we left who had, shall we say, a different look going that Riley has seen before. What I'm grateful for is that the girl didn't seem to notice Riley yelling. "She has pink hair! Her hair is two colors, Daddy, it's pink and black." I'm also glad she didn't really say anything bad, she just wanted us to know she had pink hair:) That was an easy one...I'm just waiting for the day when she learns fat/skinny, or other "weird-to-her" terms...ugly, scary, etc.
Now, as much as I'm not a Delmon Young fan, I'm kinda glad he got hit by Bonderman in Detroit because it obviously ticked him off enough to hit a grand slam tonight! I'm not going to jinx anything the rest of the weekend, except to say it has been a pretty impressive game tonight and the Sox are doing their part to help out...so far!
