Duck Soup Softball Fiasco - 2013

This year's Theme for The Other Team (that's us): 80's Rockers...See if you can guess who is whom?

For those new to the blog, this is the weekend of the Annual Duck Soup Softball Fiasco, a softball tourney played in costume and with wacky rules (think: running bases backwards, hitting off a batting tee, etc.) The event has been going on in St. Louis Park for 30 years and we have probably played in half those tournaments. Josh and I and Mandy used to be on the board while also playing, but now we just show up and play! We finished 1-2 this year...better than most years! More pics tomorrow.

And Last but Not Least...

Here is the last of the Random stuff that didn't fit the rest of the blog posts! This is just the quick peek at over 600 photos:) Oops...we get a little carried away pretending to be photographers! Thanks for putting up with us the past few weeks. Back to regularly scheduled...um...occasionally scheduled posts.

It's 5 o'clock Somewhere...Need S'more?

While we are up there, we have some fun food and drinks...some adult, some classic summer fun (think Rootbeer Floats etc.) Some warrant photos cuz they are just pretty. I didn't take pics of the floats cuz we had them indoors on a cool afternoon (all bundled up in sweatshirts is not the cutest picture!) and they were gone before I could even find my camera! But bundled up made for a good bonfire and s'mores one of the last afternoons we were there!
