Little Critters...

It's always fun to be on the lookout for critters when we are at the lake. This year we had a few new visitors. The first two pictures are a "Dragon Hunter" dragonfly that was everywhere up there, the second two are a "Damselfly" of some kind. (Ahhh, the things we learn! Katie has a book on the subject so we can identify the dragonflies!)

While we always see deer while we are up there, there was one right at the end of our driveway this time. The little red squirrel was around a lot and even ran under foot occasionally, but the strangest critter we encountered we didn't even know they had at Lake Hubert despite many years on the same lake...crawfish! One even stowed away in Meg's canoe and made it all the way home alive, so they now have a new pet!
