Turtle Races

We have our system down now for the Turtle Races...the guys entertain the kids at the house while the girls go shopping in the morning in town. Then after we eat lunch, we register the kids for the Turtle Races and stake out good spots around the race track. There is a method to our madness, but I won't share it cuz we want the good seats ;)

After the races, the boys go home and fish while the girls take the kids into town for ice cream at the Chocolate Ox and glitter eyes at Fun Sisters. If the kids have any of their own money to spend, we let them help the local economy and then head home! It's a whirlwind, but it's a fun day for all!
