Family Day!

After we finish up in Pequot the rest of the day is "Family Day" where we each have some time with our smaller immediate families (and Grandma and Grandpa get a break from our crazies!)

It has become a tradition with our "Schuster Crew" to go to Ernie's on Gull for dinner by the lake. This year we headed back to the house to do some Family Fishing before dinner and waited out a quick storm to pass  before we could eat out. And the temps dropped 15 degrees so by the time we ate outside we froze! Just my excuse for buying a new Ernie's sweatshirt that I let Riley borrow and Rowan sat snuggled in Daddy's lap for dinner:)

Why didn't we eat inside, you ask? Well...Ernie's is a bar like any other if you eat inside. Nothing fancy about it...not that we need fancy, but it's all about the view. Plus, it was PACKED inside because of the recent storm and the deck was WIDE OPEN for seating ;)
