Today we celebrate Mom's Day with Josh's mom and Riley's other Godmother, Auntie Jessie. I will bring the camera to dinner tonight, but here are some pics from yesterday and some HUGE thank you's for all my Mom's Day gifts. Starting with Saturday, Josh's parents took Riley on an adventure and came back with a hanging flower basket, chocolate covered strawberries (my FAVORITE!) and my possible new favorite, a chocolate and caramel covered apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory...YUMMY! And since they needed to borrow my car to cart the kid around with the car seat they also filled my gas tank! THANK YOU! That was so nice of you guys!
While they were out, Josh also went on an adventure and came back with two different kinds of bird feeders and a hook to attach them to our deck so Riley and I can watch the birdies up close! He even bought the two kinds of bird feed they required! YEAH Bird Nerd!
Yesterday evening the boys were in charge of making the girls dinner. We had brats and burgers, rosemary potatoes and green beans and Ice Cream Cake...more YUMMY! What a great Mom's Day! Hope you all had a beautiful day with your families! There will be more pics throughout the week because anytime the kids get together I take way too many pictures:)
NOTE: The first picture is of my mom and grandma reading some of the notes that we wrote as kids that my mom saved...pretty funny stuff!
