Ok, I haven't told too many funny Riley stories lately...so today we were driving home from a play date and out of no where Riley says to me: "Mommy, Sandwich starts with S" and then hissed the s sound at me...I was shocked! Then later in the same car trip, we were talking about how there was a lot of traffic today because it was Friday and Memorial Day weekend and lots of people are going to the cabin. I told her we might see some boats, but we didn't. We decided the boats must be on the lake already...at which point she says to me "fish live at Hubert"...that's the lake we stay at with my family in the summer. I did not prompt anything like that from her...she came up with that out of the blue!
She's also turning into quite a climber! She can climb this rock wall all by herself...Daddy stood there and watched, but didn't help at all!
Want to wish you all a happy and SAFE Memorial Day Weekend! We have some fun planned for the first half of the weekend, not sure about the rest, but it should be some good family time, the weather is supposed to be perfect!
