For the Birds!

Hopefully, by now our garage sale is winding down and it was a success...and not for the birds:) But I'm scheduling this post because I'm excited to put the pictures up, and I have had a lot of blog material this week. Josh put up my new bird feeders on Saturday, and by Tuesday the gold finches had found it. By Wednesday morning Mrs. Squirrel (yes, I'm pretty sure it's a she!) found it and happily returned a few times to load up. My guess is she is feeding some baby squirrels nearby. Also new to me, I have discovered that the nest that I blogged about yesterday that had one robin egg and one mystery egg, now has TWO mystery eggs. I will have to get another picture. Dad says he thinks it's a Cowbird...evidently they steal other bird nests. Huh...who knew? This is one happy bird nerd! (Except for the cow part...I hate cows!)
